A key battleground state is about to make life much harder on Democrats.
Ohio is passing legislation that would make the entire election process completely transparent.
That, of course, is the worst possible nightmare for Democrats.
Let the People See
Ohio’s Secretary of State Frank LaRose has just introduced legislation that will send a shiver down the spine of every Democrat in office.
LaRose wants to ensure the ballot counting process is no longer conducted in secret.
I cannot help but go back to the last election where windows were being blacked out while votes were being counted in Pennsylvania.
Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell stated, “It must be transparent, and it must be well balanced in a bipartisan sense.
“Our work is never done.”
In all honesty, I would love to see legislation like this introduced in every state, or at least in the states where controversy seems to play out in every election.
States like Pennsylvania and Arizona immediately come to mind.
How can a state like Florida have all votes counted within hours of polling closing, yet it takes days for those states to report.
They welcome controversy, and their ineptness only results in Americans not trusting elections.
