The SOTU address got very ugly at one point when Biden started just blatantly lying.
GOP members could not hold their tongues for long.
While Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) shook his head in disapproval, the gallery erupted in catcalls, boos, and shouts of “liar.”

Biden started off talking about the enormous debt that was added to the deficit during Trump’s administration.
He talked about how it took 200 years to accumulate and Trump increased it by 25 percent in just four years.
First, the national deficit was cleared under the Clinton administration, so this enormous tag has only been around our neck for about three decades.
Secondly, most of that debt was big spending bills put through for COVID that Democrats fully supported.
Third, Biden did not reduce the spending deficit, a narrative that has been debunked numerous times.
He also lied about Republicans wanting to cut Medicare and social security…
Some were upset at the lack of decorum during the speech, but it is needed, sadly.
If the GOP does not object at that point, they are complicit in the lie.
Frankly, I wish McCarthy would have had boards made up to debunk Biden in real time.
