In a stunning blow to the Biden-Harris regime, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed an Executive Order banning any government required “vaccine passports” and furthermore banning any attempts to make a COVID vaccine mandatory in the Lone Star State. The specter of a nullification crisis is growing as more and more states push back and rebuke a leftist government drunk on power. This move will no doubt incense the Democrat-Socialists currently holding the US Congress in a tenuous but lethal stranglehold.
As they so often do, Texas is setting the standard, “Every day, Texans return to normalcy as more people get the COVID vaccine. In fact, this week, Texas will surpass 13 million doses administered,” Abbott said Tuesday. “Those shots help slow the spread of COVID, reduce hospitalizations, and reduce fatalities.”
“But, as I have said all along, these vaccines are always voluntary and never forced. Government should not require any Texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information just to go about their daily lives,” the governor continued. “That is why I issued an executive order that prohibits government-mandated vaccine passports in Texas. We will continue to vaccinate more Texans and protect public health and we will do so without treading on Texans’ personal freedoms.”

Even if the Governor’s social media team messed up the sound on the first tweet, his message was a welcome one.
Gov. Greg Abbot wrote,
“I hereby suspend Section 81.082(f)(1) of the Texas Health and Safety Code to the extent necessary to ensure that no governmental entity can compel any individual to receive a COVID-19 vaccine administered under an emergency use authorization.
State agencies and political subdivisions SHALL NOT adopt or enforce any order, ordinance, policy, regulation, rule, or similar measure that requires an individual to provide, as a condition of receiving any service or entering any place, documentation regarding the individual’s vaccination status for any COVID-19 vaccine administered under an emergency use authorization.”
Another State Takes a Stand In the COVID19 Rebellion
Governor Abbott’s Texas has joined Ron DeSantis’ Florida in banning the extremely controversial and outright invasive proposed so-called “COVID-19 Passports”. The State of New York conversely under the disgraced and rapidly collapsing administration of Andrew Cuomo has pioneered the “Excelsior pass” a prototype vaccination passport for the 99% survivable pandemic.

Called the Excelsior Pass, the passport will be at first used at large venues like Madison Square Garden. But next week, arts and entertainment venues across the state will be using it.
“As they would with an airline boarding pass, people will be able to prove their health status with a digital QR code – or ‘quick response’ machine-readable label,” USA Today reported.
“They’ll need to download the Excelsior Pass app, enter their name, date of birth, and ZIP code, and answer a series of personal questions to confirm their identity. The data will come from the state’s vaccine registry and will be linked to testing data from a number of pre-approved testing companies.”
Tennessee is reportedly considering a similar bill in their legislature to prohibit the COVID passports. Governor Bill Lee expressed his support for the prohibition tweeting,
“I oppose vaccine passports. The COVID-19 vaccine should be a personal health choice, not a government requirement. I am supporting legislation to prohibit any government-mandated vaccine passports to protect the privacy of Tennesseans’ health information and ensure this vaccine remains a voluntary, personal decision.”
According to local ABC affiliate WKOW Milwaukee, Wisconsin lawmakers are considering a similar measure, they report, “The Wisconsin bill banning any restrictions on people based on their vaccine status is still being circulated for co-sponsors. It could be introduced later this month.”
The Nullification Crisis Is Coming
As multiple states’ nullification efforts continue, and more and more states legalize Second Amendment affirming measures like Open Carry and Stand Your Ground as Ohio did this week, and Election integrity reforms like Georgia, Alabama and Texas. Some like South Dakota led by Gov. Kristi Noem have passed broad nullification measures allowing their legislatures to refuse Biden’s executive orders. It is obvious that Republican led states are bracing for further depredations of a hostile, aggressive Democrat-Socialist regime bent on forcing Americans to obey their will.
