The White House has issued a fiery response to House Democrats’ incredibly cringeworthy video, where female leftist lawmakers followed an old TikTok trend of trying to pose like fighters while the Super Smash Bros. videogame “choose your character” music played in the background.
House Democrats’ video was initially posted on TikTok by so-called “influencer” Sulhee Jessica Woo, who also starred in the video. Woo began the video by posing with superimposed angel wings, followed by Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA), Judy Chu (D-CA), Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), and Susie Lee (D-NV). Each of these leftist lawmakers bounced around standing in clearly incorrect fighting stances with their “stats” listed as things like “youngest woman elected to Congress” and other odd information.
The video was immediately mocked on social media by both sides of the aisle, with many pointing out how the Democrats continue to destroy their party’s credibility and how unserious this makes them look. Others also joked that Republicans will never lose another election if the left keeps acting like this:

The White House had their own response to the cringeworthy video: another “choose your fighter” video, but this one was not cringeworthy at all, as it focused on Trump administration officials, especially those with military experience.
“Hey @HouseDemocrats , we fixed this for you!” the White House posted on X, sharing their own video, which also had the Super Smash Bros. music playing in the background.
This video began with an image of a helicopter with a comment mocking the Democrats, with the text reading: “America chose its fighters last November.”
That was followed up with a clip of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump walking together. The video then flashed to different members of the Trump administration, like Marine veteran Vice President JD Vance; Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, a former Army National Guard member; and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a former Army Military Police officer and former Army National Guard member, who is also still a member of the Army Reserves. Hegseth was shown in the video in military fatigues, while Gabbard was in a helicopter.
The video also showed images of Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Border Czar Tom Homan, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and FBI Director Kash Patel.
