If you can believe it, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is going to work for Donald Trump.
The organization is backing up Trump on his quest to have the gag order lifted.
Even though they do not agree with anything Trump is saying, the organization does believe that his constitutional rights are being violated.

Trump is fighting the gag order that was placed by Judge Chutkan on behalf of Special Counsel Jack Smith.
This was the second gag order that Trump had been hit with.
Trump’s attorneys have already started the appeals process in the case, and Judge Chutkan has temporarily stayed her own order while that plays out.
In defending Trump, the ACLU also took a shot at him.
It stated that Trump’s comments have been “patently false” and have “caused great harm to countless individuals, as well as to the Republic itself.”
It continues, “But Trump retains a First Amendment right to speak, and the rest of us retain a right to hear what he has to say.”
In the NY fraud case, Trump has already been hit with a total of $15,000 in fines for violating the gag order.
Trump was warned that any further violations would result in much harsher penalties, which may include being sent to jail.
