Project Veritas Action journalists dropped a bombshell report amidst the hotly contested 2022 midterm elections on Nov. 8. In a shocking video captured by an undercover reporter for PVA spoke with Donald Skinner Sr. at a polling location in the Bronx. Mr. Skinner wasn’t what he seemed.
While his ID indicated he was a Republican inspector, he definitely wasn’t a Republican voter based on new video from Project Veritas from the 2022 midterms.
Skinner very matter-of-factly admitted to registering as a Republican, despite consistently voting as a Democrat, simply because it was required for him to secure a job at the polls. They already had enough Democrats.
Check out the transcript provided by Project Veritas Action:
PVA JOURNALIST: Are people actually voting for Zeldin here?
SKINNER: Some are, not all. There are a few Republicans who come around, so-
PVA JOURNALIST: What are we doing about that?
SKINNER: Nothing…I mean, I’m a Republican but I vote Democrat. So-
PVA JOURNALIST: What?
SKINNER: Yeah…
PVA JOURNALIST: What do you mean?
SKINNER: In order for me to work [at this polling location], I had to be a Republican.
PVA JOURNALIST: Why?
SKINNER: Because they [Republicans] were the only ones that were giving out the [poll worker] jobs at the time…so if I wanted to go out there and change the system, from within inside, I had to be a Republican.
If the Project Veritas allegations are true Skinner could be in violation of New York State Title 4 § 3 and could be removed under Title 4 § 3-416 the New York Statute governing “Election inspectors, poll clerks and election coordinators; removal.”
The video from PVA has been shared over four thousand times on Twitter.

According to NYC.gov, poll workers are fairly well compensated for their work on election day. “Salary is $130.00 for working an Election Day, $25.00 for attending class and passing exam; A $35.00 bonus will be given to those attending class, passing the exam, and working two Election Days.”
That boils down to $320 for two days of work plus training or approximately $20/hr.
“Because they were the only ones that were giving out the jobs at the time…”
