Biden-Harris Admin Official Calls To ‘Extinguish’ Trump ‘For Good’

White House Official Calls To ‘Extinguish’ Trump ‘For Good’

Calls are ramping up for the Biden-Harris administration to fire a top official after she called to “extinguish” former President Donald Trump “for good” just over one week after Trump faced a second assassination attempt.

A clip has gone viral of Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo’s interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” earlier this week, where the Biden-Harris administration official made false claims about Trump, claiming that whatever he says is the opposite of reality.

She began by calling out Trump’s vow to place tariffs on American companies that choose to move their manufacturing outside of the U.S., which Trump has argued would force companies to stay in the U.S. and keep American jobs. Raimondo claimed that this policy would actually “hurt Americans.”

“Tax policy, you have to work with Congress but if he decides he wants to do something crazy, like a 200% tariff, which will hurt Americans, raise prices and lose jobs, he could do it as president,” she said.

Raimondo claimed that policies like this are “why honestly why I’m here in my personal capacity” and argued that the “stakes are so high in this one.”

“We cannot afford to put him back in the White House,” she continued.

Raimondo then pivoted to the left’s favorite topic: the murder of unborn babies. She whined about Trump appointing the justices that ultimately overturned the unconstitutional Roe v. Wade decision — claiming that her actions to enshrine Roe as Rhode Island governor are the “real protection,” while Trump’s vow to protect unborn babies is “another lie.”

“He’s the one that overturned Roe. For me, you know, when I was the governor of Rhode Island, one of the first governors in the country back in 2019 to codify Roe in state statute in Rhode Island,” she said. “I worked with the legislature, it was because he was president, and I feared exactly what would happen. I said women of Rhode Island would be protected. That’s real protection, stepping up and leading. And what he says is the opposite.”

She then moved on to the thinly veiled call to “extinguish” Trump.

“It’s just another lie. Like, how did we get here? Let’s extinguish him for good,” Raimondo said. “We have an answer. We have a remarkably talented candidate who is sincere, who is pragmatic, who’s open. Let’s just get it done.”

These shocking remarks came just over a week after a Democrat donor, Ryan Routh, tried to assassinate Trump at his golf course — and just over two months after a 20-year-old would-be assassin, Thomas Crooks, shot Trump and three of his supporters, killing a hero firefighter and father. This also comes after reports emerged that just one day before the first assassination attempt, federal law enforcement officials arrested a Pakistani man with ties to Iran that was planning an assassination of Trump.

Social media users, including conservative lawmakers, demanded Raimondo face consequences for her “beyond dangerous” remarks — with Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) calling for the Biden-Harris administration to immediately fire the Commerce Secretary.

“Ten days ago, a Harris supporter tried to assassinate President Trump. Now, Harris-Biden Commerce Secretary @GinaRaimondo is sending signals that she wants someone to finish the job, saying President Trump should be ‘extinguished for good,’” Mast wrote in a post on X. “This is beyond dangerous. It’s completely irresponsible. If she isn’t fired immediately, it’ll tell you everything you need to know about the people running our country.”

The official Trump War Room account on X issued a similar response, writing: “Ten days ago, a deranged Harris supporter tried to assassinate President Trump. Yet, Democrat lunatics continue to spew this dangerous rhetoric.”

Senior Trump adviser Stephen Miller also responded to the clip, writing: “These comments are dangerous and disqualifying. Kamala needs to demand her resignation.”

Columnist Tammy Bruce also commented on the clip, writing: “Classic example of the compulsion to confess. They want him dead. Not acting against threats or under-funding his protection is deadly passive aggressiveness. So committed to removing Trump from the field, their panic results in blurting out the truth.”

Popular X account “Insurrection Barbie” pointed out that the Democrats would be losing their minds if a Republican made similar comments about Vice President Kamala Harris.

“If a Republican went on television and said that we need to extinguish Kamala Harris, there would be calls for that person’s resignation with pitchforks in the street,” she wrote. “There should not be such a double standard of hypocrisy. If you are not in adult, and you do not know how to engage in political discourse without asking for the assassination of your political opponents, you have no business being in politics and the administration should be demanding her resignation.”
