Woman Stabbed 100 TIMES and Beheaded by Her Boyfriend

Justin Fields, 38, has been charged with the horrific murder of his live-in girlfriend 52-year old Tammy Bailey. Fields told police that after he became frustrated with Bailey for refusing to have sex with him, he stabbed her over 100 times.

Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon told reporters that when law enforcement found her, Bailey had been decapitated with her head lying near her feet and one of her limbs severed according to AL.com.

Sheriff Moon gave an account of the brutal murder as confessed to the investigators by Fields.

Friday, on his birthday, Fields and Bailey went to several places in the Springville, Alabama area before returning to their house on Baily Drive.

“He had a drink of brandy and then went into his bedroom and was playing guitar,’’ Moon said. “He decided he wanted to have sex, so he went into her room and propositioned her.”

“She refused him,’’ Moon said, “and, according to his statement, it frustrated him, and he stabbed her in the chest.”

Fields then explained to the investigators that he allegedly blacked out, returned to his room and slept. When he awoke the next day, he claimed, he believed he was having a bad dream, and stabbed Bailey post-mortem 100 more times.

“We’re pretty sure she was dead on the first blow,’’ Moon added. “When he went back in there the next day, she had not moved.”

Fields then called his father, telling him that he had “done something horrible,” and told him he wanted to kill himself. The father then contacted another family member who lived nearby. The unnamed relative went to the couple’s home but Fields wouldn’t let them in the door. “He tells her what’s inside is terrible and she doesn’t want to see it,’’ Moon told reporters. “She calls 911.”

By the time deputies arrived at the crime scene, around 5:30 pm that day, they found Fields sitting on his front steps. He told the first deputy that he did something bad and that the evidence is in the house.

The Deputy was alarmed by Fields’ statements and demeanor and told Fields that he was going to handcuff him for the safety of both of them. Fields didn’t object and told him, “That’s Ok. You’re going to arrest me anyway.”

“He admitted to my investigator everything he’d done so he was stable enough to know what he was doing,’’ Moon said. “He was frustrated because he didn’t get what he wanted.”

Moon told the media that the case has been hard on his deputies and investigators, according to AL.com.

“My two deputies are both young in general and young in law enforcement,’’ the sheriff said. “Obviously it was pretty hard on them because they’ve never experienced anything like that.”

The New York Post reports that Fields was taken into custody at the scene and booked into Blount County Jail Sunday. He’s been charged with murder and the abuse of a corpse according to jail records.
