I think it would be a fairly safe assumption that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is among everyone’s favorite members in the House.
He also happens to be one of Trump’s biggest surrogates in office.
Jordan just have Trump his excuse on how to explain away his hush payment, and, quite frankly, I am shocked.
About Honesty
Jordan can be dramatic, but he is generally a pretty honest person.
That is why I was rather surprised to hear how he explained the hush payment paid to Stormy Daniels.
Jordan was recently discussing how the case against Trump had more or less disappeared, then it suddenly became a spectacle.
He stated, “And then what changed? President Trump announces he’s running for president and shazam!
“Now they are — we’re going to have some bookkeeping error from seven years ago.”
This was not a bookkeeping error.
This was a payment that had several layers of deception to be covered up, then written off as a business expense.
I would only ask this… how would Jordan react if he had someone in the hot seat and they tried to say this was an accounting error?
Do you think he would buy that?
