During a Wednesday appearance on “The View,” President Joe Biden effectively destroyed Vice President Kamala Harris’ chances in the November election with a single sentence.
Harris has repeatedly tried to distance herself from Biden, despite years of the White House’s insistence that it should be called the “Biden-Harris administration” rather than simply the Biden administration, as is custom for every other presidential administration in history.
Speaking with Philadelphia’s Action News 6 ABC reporter Brian Taff in her first solo interview on September 13, Harris insisted that her campaign represents “new ideas” — despite literally copying and pasting the policies on her campaign website from Biden’s campaign site, and despite the fact that her politics align with Biden’s.
“My approach is about new ideas, new policies that are directed at the current moment. And also, to be very honest with you, my focus is very much in what we need to do over the next ten, twenty years to catch up to the twenty first century,” she claimed, adding: “I’m obviously not Joe Biden, and you know, I offer a new generation of leadership.”
However, these claims were destroyed on Wednesday when Biden told “The View” that Harris was to blame for all of the Biden-Harris administration’s failed policies, including skyrocketing inflation, the border crisis, and the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
“As Vice President, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy,” he said while supposedly campaigning for Harris.

This single sentence may be the downfall of Harris’ campaign, as it once again connected her to the Biden-Harris administration failures that she has desperately tried to distance herself from — while also making it difficult for her to campaign on a platform of “change” regarding issues like crime, inflation, and border security.

Meanwhile, a RMG Research poll conducted in September showed that a whopping 57% of registered voters believe that they are not better off under the Biden-Harris administration compared to four years ago under former President Donald Trump — meaning that effectively connecting Harris to the administration’s policies is highly likely to dissuade these voters from choosing Harris.
