It’s no secret that the Republican party has been vocal about their opinion on the recent allegations of corruption involving then Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
This Thursday morning, House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) requested that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) release all relevant documentation concerning communications between Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Eric Schwerin, Devon Archer, and any drafts composed for then Vice President Joe Biden’s address before the Ukrainian parliament in December 2015.
These documents are to be released unredacted in order to further investigate possible policy or influence exchanged or promised as part of these deals.

The investigation revealed evidence of a call between then Vice President Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko which was sent to an alias Robert L. Peters identified by the committee as a pseudonym for Joe Biden himself.
Kilmeny Duchardt from Newsmax’s Congressional Correspondent commented on this development saying “We have talked about the bank records, payments that Hunter Biden received from foreign nationals…revealing that then Vice President Joe Biden met with individuals that his son did business with,” implying some potentially corrupt activity taking place behind closed doors.
The House Oversight Committee also requested special access to emails related to Hunter Biden, Burisma and Ukraine in order to uncover any wrongdoing occurring during this time period.

In response Chairman Comer wrote in a statement “Joe Biden has stated there was ‘an absolute wall’ between his family’s foreign business schemes and his duties as vice president, but evidence reveals that access was wide open for his family’s influence peddling….We already have evidence of then-Vice President Biden speaking, dining, and having coffee with his son’s foreign business associates … We also know that Hunter Biden and his associates were informed of then-Vice President Biden’s official government duties in countries where they had a financial interest. The National Archives must provide these unredacted records to further our investigation into the Biden family’s corruption.”
Miranda Devine from The New York Post complemented Representative Comer writing: “James Comer is relentless..Comer was about to go to court to get all Joe and Hunter’s personal bank records when AG Garland pulled the Special Counsel trick.”
It seems clear now more than ever what side Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) stands on remarking “Very important!”
With this latest request made by House Oversight Chair James Comer it seems fair to say we will soon have answers either way regarding these allegations of corruption.
