Democrats Beg Kamala Not To Release Agenda Before Election

Democrats are reportedly so concerned about their chances in the November elections that they are begging Vice President Kamala Harris not to release any policy agenda for her campaign.

Harris has thus far been running one of President Joe Biden’s signature “basement campaigns” — as she has not done a single interview in the 26 days since Biden dropped out and endorsed her, nor has she given a single unscripted press conference. Her website also did not have a single policy listed as of Friday evening, though she had announced plans to release economic proposals during an event in North Carolina on Friday.

Now, Democrats are asking her to become even less transparent with the American people, begging her not to release any policy proposals in the months leading up to the November election.

Harris has already discussed one policy that she stole from her opponent, former President Donald Trump — “no tax on tips.” She also released several other policies to the media just before her North Carolina event, vowing to impose Soviet-style price controls, socialist home subsidies and another policy stolen from Trump, an increased child tax credit.

After Harris’ socialist policies received backlash, Democrats are reportedly concerned that they could lose seats in the Senate and the House, as well as the presidency, if Harris is transparent about her agenda.

“She doesn’t need to negotiate against herself. We’ve got the biggest possible tent right now,” Rep. Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH), told Politico. “I don’t think there’s a real strong reason for her to try to weed out any points of view right now.”

What Kuster and other Democrats mean when they express this sentiment is that Harris has essentially hidden herself so well that the American people have no idea what she stands for — which they believe is a good thing, as they can trick the American people into voting for an empty shell of a Democrat candidate.

“They [voters] have very little knowledge about who she is, what her job has actually been,” one battleground-district House Democrat said. “They know Trump. They know what his policies are. They don’t know Kamala. And so Kamala has a ton of room right now to define herself.”

According to a recent poll, a whopping 70% of registered Democrats and independents who voted for Biden in 2020 are mostly unaware of most of Harris’ radical political views, which is exactly how Democrats want it to be.

These concerns are reportedly known to the Harris campaign, as her advisers have reportedly been worried about publicly releasing the “thorny details” of her economic plan because it may backfire, according to several people familiar with the internal discussions who spoke with the Wall Street Journal.

“Instead, they expect small shifts in emphasis that highlight her résumé and priorities” to conceal the details of Harris’ policy agenda “amid concerns from some Democrats that releasing a lengthy plan could open the vice president up to criticism from Republicans and members of her party,” according to the outlet.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign is demanding that Harris actually start campaigning like a legitimate candidate — with Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt releasing a statement that read: “Kamala needs to stop insulting the intelligence of voters and speak for herself to explain why she is running from every liberal policy she has ever supported. The mainstream media needs to stop being complicit in her lies and demand answers.”
