Rapaport Issues Fiery Response To Pro-Hamas Congresswoman

Pro-Israel actor and comedian Michael Rapaport has issued a fiery response to a “free Palestine” post from rabid anti-Israel and pro-Hamas Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).

Rapaport has become increasingly outspoken in favor of Israel in the months since the October 7 Hamas terror attack, even going so far as to suggest that he may be voting for former President Donald Trump in the November election due to growing anti-Israel sentiment and antisemitism within the Democrat Party — despite his previous rabid anti-Trump rhetoric.

The comedian’s latest pro-Israel comments came in response to an X thread from Tlaib, who claimed that the Palestinian “liberation” movement is not antisemitic. Of course, general support for Palestine and concerns about Israel’s military actions is not antisemitic — but, as Rapaport pointed out, a significant majority of the Palestinian “liberation” movement is blatantly antisemitic, including supporting the outright elimination of the Jewish nation through violence.

“It’s hard not to feel invisible as a Palestinian-American. Our trauma and pain feel unseen and ignored by both parties. One party uses our identity as a slur, and the other refuses to hear from us,” Tlaib began.

Tlaib then cited anti-Israel activist Noura Erakat, a “human rights attorney,” sharing a quote that read: “Zionists have framed Palestinian calls for liberation as antisemitic, while the US governing party overseeing our genocide frames it as pro-Trump. As gutting and infuriating as this is, it only strengthens my resolve to fight.”

Rapaport responded to Tlaib’s posts by pointing out the commonly used slogan from pro-Palestine activists — “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free,” which calls for the outright elimination of Israel as a nation.

“If by ‘Liberation’ you mean ‘From the River to the Sea…blah blah blah’ it ain’t happening, it’s never happening & it never was happening,” the actor wrote.

The post also included a video response from Rapaport, where he pointed out that the best way to “free Palestine” is to free them from their Hamas leadership, though the vast majority of Palestinians approve of their government being controlled by the terrorist group.

“Yes, free Palestine. Free Palestine from Hamas. Free Palestine from terror regimes. Free [bleeped] Palestine from themselves. They’ve had many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many opportunities to be free. And they’ve rejected many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, and every [bleeped] opportunity to be free. So don’t tell me about ‘Free Palestine.’ Don’t tell Jews about ‘free Palestine.’ Don’t tell Israel about ‘Free Palestine.’ Tell Palestinians to free Palestine.”

Rapaport’s comments about Palestine refusing to agree to peace with Israel refer to the fact that Palestinian leaders have rejected every single peace deal they have been offered — rejecting all offers of a two-state solution, even those that would have given them all of Gaza, nearly all of the West Bank, and some sovereignty in Jerusalem. Clearly, Palestine does not want to be free unless it involves the end of Israel.
