Trump Revokes Security Clearances For Alvin Bragg, Other Dems

President Donald Trump has revoked even more security clearances from Democrats who have tried to politically persecute their opponents, including disgraced Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, New York Attorney General Letitia James, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and former national security adviser Jake Sullivan.

On February 8, Trump announced in an interview with the New York Post that he would be revoking the security clearances of eight Democrats, blocking them from accessing classified information as well as barring them from entering certain federal facilities.

“This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings,” the president told the outlet.

He specifically decided to strip Blinken’s security clearance over the fact that he orchestrated the letter signed by 51 intelligence agents falsely claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

At the time of the letter’s publication, these officials were well aware of the fact that the laptop was legitimate and had nothing to do with Russia. Those 51 intelligence agents also had their security clearances revoked by Trump.

Sullivan’s security clearance was stripped in large part because of his actions in pushing the false Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Trump also included Biden administration Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco in the order, revoking her security clearance after she took part in the politically motivated investigations into Trump over the January 6 Capitol protests.

The decision comes after Trump already revoked the security clearance of former President Joe Biden, citing his cognitive decline and his past mishandling of classified documents as reasons why he does not deserve to have continued access to classified information.

He also highlighted the fact that Biden set the precedent for these actions by stripping Trump of his security clearance soon after he took office in January 2021.

He also revoked the security clearance of disgraced warmonger John Bolton over his publication of a book containing sensitive government information intended to smear Trump, which the president argued was a threat to national security.
