The NAACP is doing Ron DeSantis dirty.
The group has issued a travel advisory for Florida.
According to NAACP, Florida is no longer safe for people of color.
Stay Away
The travel advisory by the NAACP was in “in direct response to … DeSantis’ aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”
It continued, “Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals.
“Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.”
This is nothing more than a political move by the NAACP, but it is one that will backfire.
Let’s not forget that DeSantis turned Florida completely red in the last election.
If anything, these groups should be calling liberals to the state to try to offset the numbers.
This “advisory” by the NAACP, blatantly charging DeSantis of racism, will only make the state redder for the next election, turning over all those electoral votes to the GOP.
