Those who knew him described him as happy and healthy and looking forward to his school’s upcoming book week.
William’s parents Karen Lynch and Mike Shaw are understandably struggling during these difficult times as they await answers from the coroner regarding what might have caused their son’s sudden death.
The family was devastated when they discovered that their son had passed away; he was sleeping peacefully in bed when they checked on him only to find something wasn’t right.
A friend of the family described William as having a heart of gold, being perfectly healthy, and always making everyone around him laugh with his cheerful personality and sense of humor.
To help support William’s grieving family financially during this time, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched by Nicole Banns, another friend of the family.
All funds raised will be given directly to Karen and Mike so that any financial strain can be alleviated during this painful period.
Over $40 thousand dollars had already been raised towards their goal of $50 thousand dollars.
The loss of life is never easy but it is especially heartbreaking when it comes unexpectedly like it did for young William Pfeiffer this week.
Our hearts go out to his loving parents Karen Lynch and Mike Shaw who must now come to grips with such an immense tragedy.
